  • Establishment of a detailed strategy for high school coursework
  • Ensure that students are maximizing the available course offering at their high school

EXTRACURRICULAR AND ACADEMIC INTEREST REFINEMENT

  • Facilitate the application of students' extracurricular and academic interests in innovative ways, aiming to enrich or diversify their involvement in these pursuits
  • Craft specific opportunities for the student based on their extracurricular pursuits

COLLEGE SELECTION

  • Formulate, assess and finalize a list of potential universities for the student's application process
  • Identify of a short list of universities to visit
  • Guidance on planning college visits to achieve maximum benefit and arrangement of the visit schedule

ESSAY ADVISING

  • Generation of ideas through brainstorming sessions
  • Evaluation of Common App and institution-specific essay requirements
  • Review and revision of all essay drafts

APPLICATION REVIEW

  • Assist students in accentuating their strengths
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of all applications before submission

LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION

  • Decision-making on which teachers/professors to approach for recommendations
  • Training on effective approaches to request recommendations for optimal results

INTERVIEW PREPARATION

  • Prepare students for both on-campus and off-campus interviews, as well as meetings with admissions officers
  • Practice interview questions and provide expert responses

TEST SCHEDULING

  • Establish a standardized testing plan
  • Explore strategies for test preparation

SUMMER EXPERIENCES

  • Provide a curated list of opportunities to enhance summer experiences

This plan also includes communication with colleges on behalf of the student, consisting of in-person meetings (where available), unlimited phone, Zoom, FaceTime and email correspondences.
